Since its inception, Tomodachi Press has aimed to spread art by mixing it with the most popular media. Masterpiece Card Series® is the project that best embodies this goal.
A series consisting of boxes, each containing a complete set of 36 illustrations, dedicated to an author and a specific theme.
MCS volumes will be released three times a year, and each is part of a large art collection that you can order by progressive numbering (e.g., Volume 1: #1 ~ #36, Volume 2: #37 ~ #72, etc.).
Volume I of this series contains an unreleased work by Italian cartoonist Gipi called Walker. A "silent" story that until today has never found its conclusion, but which will finally be told to you through this set.
Masterpiece Card Series® includes:
- A transparent slipcase customized to the Volume's theme and the numbering of the illustrations inside, so you can display it on your bookshelf.
- A rigid cardboard box with magnetic closure.
- A guide with an unreleased interview that contextualizes and deepens the author and the Volume's theme.
- A complete set of 36 illustrations printed on fine Usomano 450gsm paper with the artist's signature hot-stamped in silver and their commentary on the back of each artwork.
- The luckiest ones might find one of the 1000 original signatures of the author on the back of one of the 36 illustrations.
